As an elementary school teacher for 21 years (grades 3-6), I have supported my students in literacy, math, social studies, science, social-emotional learning, and social justice. I welcome the chance to spend one-on-one time online with students who are entering third through sixth grades. I am available to provide specific literacy and/or math support as well as to assist with homework or special school projects. I look forward to connecting with families that would like the extra support of a certified teacher for their child. About Me

Hi! My name is Angi, and I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have been employed as a classroom teacher in grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 for the last 21 years, without interruption, in the states of Massachusetts, New York, and California. I hold a current Clear Multiple Subject California Teaching Credential (grades K-6) and possess a lifetime teaching license in the state of New York. I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Theatre and a Master's of Science degree in Literacy Education. My extensive education and experience have helped me provide individualized one-on-one support for my students throughout the years, both in public and private schools. My ability to develop positive and nurturing relationships with my students and deliver engaging and effective lessons has helped my students grow and flourish. I have experience teaching students in a wide range of situations: • Students just starting to read and write the English language • Students who excel and needed to be challenged with higher-level reading and writing strategies • Students who needed extra practice to gain trajectory • Students who had learning differences and needed specific support
