Hi, my name is Gemma Gow and I taught English for almost 17 years. I am extremely passionate about helping young people to succeed. Teaching a variety of young people over the years from all different backgrounds and learning styles has helped me to understand that what every student needs most is a teacher to care for their learning as well as the impact it has on their wellbeing. That is why it so important for me to build a relationship with my pupils so I can build upon the skills they already have, enhance the learning they receive in the classroom and help them to believe in their abilities.
Classrooms are busy places and it's not always easy to ask for help or admit when you are struggling, that's why working with me 1-1 can help your child to share in their difficulties with English so we can work together to improve their knowledge and understanding of the subject.
