About Me

I am a professional, working in the commercial sector, I am a qualified Lawyer with over 10 years legal clinic and litigation experience. I have wide ranging interests including, travel, horticulture/environmental issues - I volunteer at a local Conservancy. I believe learning should be enjoyable, I aim to create a stimulating learning environment that encourages my students to leave my lessons confident and ready to use what they have learnt.

    As a professional lawyer it was my responsibility to explain to 40-60 land owners who are illiterate in simple basic language what the law is and how their case would be conducted. I had to simplify Legal Jargon and the translate it in the local language Tok Pisin.

  • VOLUNTEERING WORK

    HOWICK FALLS SOCIETY

    Volunteer, providing information to visitors. Visitors who were not from Kwa Zulu Natal and to foreign tourists. I interacted with people from different countries and provinces in South Africa. I had to learn the history of South Africa in particular the place I lived in, Kwa Zulu-Natal. I also had to familiarise myself with historical location of places in the Midlands.
