MATH TUTORING?
Wanted to give a brief overview of my experience.
I am currently a 6th Grade Math/Science teacher at Granite Mountain Middle with PUSD.
I have a bachelor's of Science in Middle School Mathematics with a valid teaching certification. I have been a teacher for around 7 years in highschool, middle school, and college level courses. I have a passion for learning as well as all branches of mathematics. I have tutored all levels of math for 5 years. I have spent a great deal of time tutoring with Varsity Tutors and have worked with a vast range of ages. I have taught High School Geometry, Algebra, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistics, Personal Finance, and Consumer Math. The last two years I have had a primary focus on Middle School Mathematics.
This school year has been rather difficult for many of the math learners in the county. 1 on 1 settings are where students thrive and benefit greatly. It is one of the best atmospheres for learning for many. I look forward to helping you and your students prepare for the next grade and beyond. I have plenty of resources to pull from to engage your students in a variety of different ways and methods. I would like to help in any way I can and equip you and your student with resources to practice in between sessions.
