Nothing makes me happier than seeing the eureka moments on my students' faces after figuring out a puzzling problem. I put extra emphasis on providing just enough information and strategies to enable my students to confidently tackle coding on their own once given the tools to do so. It is so important for students to take ownership and gain confidence in what they are learning through appealing to their interests and tailoring every individual lesson to what works best for them. I am an AP Scholar with Distinction having achieved many 5s on the 15 APs I took in highschool enabling me to similarly provide tutoring assistance on AP Computer Science A, Principles, Chemistry, Physics 1, Calculus AB, Stats, and so much more. I can teach from beginner to sophomore year college CS program level Data structures in Java, and from beginner to intermediate in Python. Also, I am hoping to TA in an intro level course next semester only strengthening my teaching skills.
