Steven Fink

Steven Fink founded and operates SummerTech which currently resides on the SUNY Purchase College. SummerTech has been running strong for twenty years and has been a staple of computer education for thousands of children and developed hundreds of young leaders and teachers who have gone on to notable careers. Steven Co-Founded Coditum with Ryan Heaton in spring of 2023 in an effort to empower computer science-focused high school students with empowerment tools through teaching, development, and entrepreneurial skills. Steven is a member of The Grapes, a musical outfit from Atlanta, GA, and has performed over two thousand live shows in forty-four states from 1986 to present day. The Grapes have shared the stage with many national and world-wide acts and continues to maintain a presence on iTunes and other online music retailers. Steven is married to his wife Karen Schrift, an attorney specializing in environmental matters. Along with his daughter, Genevieve, Steven and family are avid theater goers and patrons to the arts. SummerTech has been a major donor at the Purchase PAC since 2013. Steven Fink holds a BFA in Music Education from New Jersey City University where he graduated with honors. He also attended The University of North Carolina at Greensboro where he was a piano performance major. Steven worked as a music teacher at Washington Middle School in Harrison, NJ from 2012-2016 where he has revitalized a music program by recreating its curriculum and establishing performance classes and computer education offerings not before available in the Harrison district.
