About Me

Welcome! I'm a dedicated private English language tutor that has guided many ESL students from pre-intermediate to advanced English to achieve their goals. I'm a certified TEFL teacher and also have a California Teacher's Credential. My communicative approach inspires interest and makes learning fun. With our lessons you will feel confident with your vocabulary and grammar when speaking and writing in English. Let's work together to improve your English!

Sessions

    30-min Conversational English
    Have 30 minutes? Practice your conversational English. Actively using your English is the best way to improve. I'll ask you questions and point out any mistakes you make with vocabulary or grammar and give brief explanations. Pre-intermediate to Advanced. Ages 12 and up.

    1 hour lesson (not recurring)
    Sign up for a one-hour lesson. If you have a changing schedule and can't commit to the same time and day each week, take a hour lesson when convenient for you. We can work on vocabulary and grammar as well as plenty of speaking practice time. Pre-intermediate to Advanced. Ages 12 and up.

    Weekly lessons (60 minutes)
    With weekly lessons we can focus on your vocabulary and grammar along with plenty of speaking practice time. Learning verb tenses, phrasal verbs, idioms, and conditional sentences will greatly improve your ability to communicate in English. Pre-intermediate to Advanced. Ages 12 and up.

    Quick explanation of all verb tenses with example sentences featuring my dogs. This will give you a good overall understanding of when we use different verb tenses. (2-page document)
  • Practice with Verb Tenses & in-depth explanations
    An in-depth explanation of all verb tenses with example sentences and practice. This includes exceptions and confusing grammar points explained. This is geared for intermediate and advanced students. There are three pages for practice (present, past, and future tenses) along with an answer key (3 pages). This is an 11-page document.
