  • Quick 30 min Sessions- Book and Pay Here
Although I do not recommend sessions shorter than 1 hr (60 minutes is sometimes barely enough time to get through everything we would like to cover in any given session) I understand that your schedule may not be able to accomodate an entire hr of tutoring, or maybe you just need some quick help on an assignment once in a while and 30 mins will be enough time for us to get through it. Whatever the case, I will allow 30 min sessions to be booked. Just please understand, that there is only so much we can get done in 30 mins, but I promise that we will try to get through what we need to get done, given our time constraints.

Recurring sessions

  • 2-1 hr sessions/week
Would you like a more regular schedule? Seeing students at least twice a week is recommended to ensure students stay up to date with their schoolwork and tutors suggested work. Being on a more regular schedule sets us up for an even higher success rate since I'll be able to get to know you more and understand your needs. You must pay for each week the day you book but no later than Noon CST on the Sunday that your tutoring week begins on. (May pay for more weeks in advance in order to secure a schedule.) What you pay for: 2-55 min tutoring/homework sessions/WK After the first day, sessions that are increasingly more individualized as I get to know you A note after each session to recap our session

  • 3-1 hr sessions/week
Secure your days for 4 weeks without paying up front (Must pay for each week 48 hrs before the first session of the week.) Per educational research, both published and my own, studies have shown that, although there's no one size fits all regarding how many times a week students should attend tutoring, three times a week is a common and agreeable standard. Three times a week seems to be enough time to ensure we are keeping up with homework and still have time for studying or test/prep. What you pay for: 3-55 min tutoring sessions per week (may schedule for the whole month in advance without paying upfront. Must pay for each week the Sunday Preceding our tutoring week) Homework, studying, test prep A more detailed note after each session, recapping our session and giving any suggestions as to how we should move forward based off each individual session Increasingly more individualized sessions after the first session, as I get to know you more.

  • 5-1hr Sessions/Week
Needing to catch up? Wanting to get ahead? Whatever the reason, tutoring 5 times a week gives us an ample amount of time to ensure we are caught up with schoolwork, study for any upcoming assessments, test prep, higher order thinking problem solving and enrichment. These are also the students who I know the most and, therefore, have the most individualized sessions. What you pay for: 5-55min tutoring sessions/wk- Must pay for each week at least 48 hrs before your first session of the week. Increasingly individualized sessions after our first session Notes after each session with recaps and any other suggestions I may have based off the day's session A Math Mentor BFF for Life!

  • 5-1 hr Sessions/wk
Tutoring 5 times a week isn't just for students who are severly struggling (although, of course more sessions would be recommended for students who may need it.) I've had students who just needed that extra reassurace each day after school to make sure that they truly understood the material from that day. I also have students who I do not tutor based off of their grade level curriculum but instead I tutor them for math competitons or I tutor them above their grade level because they want to get ahead, as far ahead as possible. For these students, they may not "need" sessions but, instead they are choosing to better themselves, and, since we all know knowledge is power, they chose to fit in as many tutoring sessions in as possible. For these students, not only do you get the best deal possible, but I also gurantee that once we figure out your weekly schedule, your schedule will not change and will be guranteed unless we decide on a schedule change (or barring any unforeseen circumsatnces that may arise that would prevent me from continuing your tutoring schedule.) Tutoring 5 times a week gives us an ample amount of time to ensure we are caught up with school work, study for any upcoming assessments, test prep, higher order thinking problem solving and enrichment.
